How it works:
- It will target all school-leavers, including drop-outs, in all communities.
- There will be no age limit.
- All good ideas for legitimate business will be welcome.
- The programme will be coordinated by the RG Group.
- A CIE team will monitor and execute all aspects of the program.
- The CIE Team will recommend entries to a panel of judges selected according to the range of business ideas proposed by applicants. The Judges will be asked to select and recommend the most sustainable projects, based on agreed criteria. They will then select the most viable proposals, out of which CIE will select 10 (ten).
- The winning entries will be announced and winners will be presented with certificates.
- Selected applicants will be told how much their project will attract.
- The winners will also benefit from guidance by a team of competent persons who understand the objective and the national business culture.
- The CIE Team will design a strategy to monitor implementation on an ongoing basis, to ensure compliance and execution as per plan.
- Teachers and Principals will be invited to promote the project among students leaving school.
